Asma Bilal Chaudhry

Since being called to the Bar in 2003 Asma’s practice has been predominately in Immigration, Asylum and Human Rights law. She also has extensive experience in EEA Law. She has a background in working with vulnerable client’s particularity victims of trafficking, minors and domestic violence. Asma has also cross qualified as a Solicitor Advocate and has previously held her own practice in Immigration for a number of years.

She has a standing record of presenting in complex Asylum, Deportations and Bail matters as well as fresh claim refusals, entry clearance and in country appeals.

Asma has previously worked with the Immigration Advisory Service from which she provided invaluable experience in this field. This has also means that Asma maintains high client care at all times she will ensure that her client is put at ease.

She is familiar with presenting cases before the First Tier Tribunal and at the Upper Tier Tribunal.

Asma is known from time to time to take on Pro Bono work.

Crime

Asma has experience of the Criminal Justice system and particularly in prosecution work with the CPS.
