RECRUITMENT

Be a part of Article 6 Law.

Pupillage
Prior to making an application for pupillage, candidates will be expected to complete a mini
pupillage.

Chambers are looking for intelligent, independent, applied individuals who are interested in our specialist areas of work.  They must be highly motivated, determined, have initiative and of the highest ethical and professional calibre.

They must also be committed to use the law
to assist the disadvantaged and support the Chambers commitment to civil liberties, human
rights and support for the Legal Aid system.  Ultimately we are looking for pupils who are
potential candidates for tenancy.

We have one recruitment round per year. Short-listed applicants are invited to a half-day
session which normally includes an interview and a written exercise. We aim to allocate
supervisors who practise in the areas of particular interest to our pupils.

With this in mind you will be allocated at least one supervisor to assist in your continued development. We are committed to equal opportunities in the training of our pupils and we operate a structured pupillage training programme.

We are a Chambers which is dedicated to the
future and the training necessary to have an accomplished career at the Bar. Successful
candidates can be expected to be in court every day and kept busy by our friendly Clerks
Room.

Tenancy
We are currently inviting applications from barristers across all locations, practice
areas and levels of seniority. In recent years, a number of high quality practitioners have joined Chambers from other leading sets.

Due to the large volume of work within Chambers and our desire to expand our team
of able practitioners we are eager to recruit new tenants of ability across our practice
areas, although we encourage applications from immigration and family practitioners
in particular.

Every application to join Chambers is judged on merit alone and will be dealt with
fairly, quickly and in the strictest confidence.
We provide our members with outstanding practice development support tailored to
individual aspirations – whether it is developing better quality work, increasing
earnings, applying for judicial appointments or taking Silk.
