Background

​

Zafar as a Barrister in employed practise for over two decades has substantial experience of handling international and local litigation including arbitration and mediation. Specialising in corporate, commercial and contractual disputes as well as public law (Judicial Review). Handling international commercial disputes in power, oil, gas, cement, construction, IT, education, property, banking, re-insurance, insurance, sport, international waters, telecom and many more sectors.

He has experience of working for local governments in England and federal government in Pakistan and is High Court Advocate in Pakistan. He has enforced London High Court judgements in foreign jurisdictions.

He provides advice, gives opinions and drafts all types of agreements/contracts including joint ventures, partnerships, sales, purchase, loan, leases and international collaboration.

Zafar is also a Direct Public Access barrister and will take on instructions directly; he has flexible fee structure which can be discussed with his senior clerk Barry Henderson.
